The Book of Revelation – A Revelation Indeed

 1. Why don’t people like to read the Book of Revelation?
First, because it reveals the secret that Satan, once a high-ranking angel dwelling in the presence of God in the heavenly realm, rebelled against God and was cast down into the air along with his followers. He then received the name “Satan.” This event happened even before human creation.
Second, it declares that Satan will soon be cast down to the earth with great fury.
Third, it prophesies that he will then be thrown into the Abyss (bottomless pit) and imprisoned there for a thousand years.
Fourth, after that, he will be released for a short while.
Fifth, Satan—through his angels, the Antichrist, and the false prophet (the Antichrist’s assistant)—will work toward the destruction of mankind, but in the end, they will all be destroyed.
Sixth, all the sin that entered mankind through Satan, along with the sorrow and evil that resulted, will be wiped out forever.
Note: Because these six truths directly oppose Satan’s schemes and expose his fate to all, he does not want people to read this book.
2. Who else may not like to read the Book of Revelation?
  1. Those who believe that the events described in this book won’t happen during their lifetime.
  1. Those who are frightened by the terrifying incidents it foretells.
  1. Those who fear that reading it will lead to bad dreams and disturbed nights.
  1. Those who feel the content is hard to understand.
  1. Those who interpret it incorrectly may suffer spiritually as a result.
Note: These five reasons discourage some people from reading Revelation. Such individuals tend to avoid the book altogether.
3. Who delights in reading the Book of Revelation?
  1. Those who have grown deeply in godliness. The Lord Jesus Christ will soon take such people to the heavenly realm, granting them eternal life.
  1. After that, during the seven years of tribulation on earth, countless people will turn to Christ.
  1. Later, those who had previously gone to be with the Lord will return with Him and reign on the earth for a thousand years, teaching the Word of God.
  1. During that time, again, multitudes will turn to Christ.
  1. In those thousand years, there will be no sin, disease, famine, conflict, war, poisonous insects, thorns, or death. Nothing that harms humanity will remain.
  1. The entire earth will be purified. Waters will be crystal clear, trees will yield abundant fruit, crops will flourish, and all living beings—including humans—will dwell together in harmony.
Note: Those who believe in these six joyful truths will love to read the Book of Revelation again and again.
4. Who wrote the Book of Revelation?
The author of this book is one of the disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ—John by name. He was very close to the Lord and had the gift of visions. Because he boldly preached the teachings of Jesus Christ to the people, the governing authorities banished him to the island of Patmos, located in the Mediterranean Sea. At that time, John was an old man, seemingly too aged to continue in active ministry.
It was in that very condition that the Lord Jesus Christ appeared to him in a divine vision, and all the events contained in this book were revealed to him through that vision. John then faithfully wrote down everything he saw. Truly, the thoughts of man are one thing, but the thoughts of the Most High God are far beyond ours.
5. When did John write this book?
John wrote the Book of Revelation toward the end of the first century A.D., near the end of the apostolic age. It was the final book to be added to the Bible, coming after the first 65 books. It was written for the end times of world history—that is, our present time, when the Lord Jesus is soon to come and take His Church with Him.
If anyone desires to know the complete story of Christ, it is not enough to read only the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. They must also read this Revelation—the final prophetic testimony.
Even astrologers or seers who claim to foresee the future could declare truly glorious revelations if they read and understand this book. Since the Book of Revelation is full of mysteries, commentaries should be read carefully to form a correct understanding.
All the remaining prophecies and messages scattered throughout the other books of the Bible are brought to completion in this book. And if we desire our own life story to end well and gloriously, then may this Revelation be revealed to you also.

Story of Hagar , Genesis 16:1-12; John 8:31-38, 57-59; Galatians 4:28-31 | sermon by Father.Mungamuri Devadasu

Hagar was Sarah’s maidservant. According to Sarah’s wishes, she bore a son for Abraham. However, this led to Sarah’s anger and resentment. Eventually, following Sarah’s command, Abraham sent Hagar and her son away with a skin of water and a small amount of food. She wandered aimlessly in the wilderness of Beersheba, lost and uncertain. Overcome with grief and despair, Hagar’s eyes were clouded with sorrow. Yet, having lived in Abraham’s household, she had developed an inner perception and the ability to listen. Likewise, her physical senses remained strong. The angel of the Lord appeared to her and said, "God has heard the cry of the child; do not be afraid." Hagar’s Condition: She was cast out from Abraham’s household. She was wandering alone. She had no water in the wilderness. Amid these hardships, she was on the verge of death. Hagar’s story teaches us that "God’s help comes to us in our greatest distress." She was in deep despair, lost and withou...

Those who have needs, and the One who fulfills them – the Lord.

Sermon : "Those who have needs, and the One who fulfills them – the Lord." Ezekiel 17:24; John 14:14; Romans 4:21 Beloved ones who have many needs—may you be filled with satisfaction and peace! The theme of today’s sermon is: "Those who have needs, and the One who fulfills them – the Lord." To illustrate this, I present two sides before you: the right side with one stack, and the left side with another. Before we begin the sermon, let me say this—there are 66 books in the Bible, but I will highlight only four of them: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Although written by four different people, all four books focus on one story—the life of Jesus Christ . It is not four different accounts, but one united message. Now, the truth I want to emphasize is this: every person in the world has some needs —things they have not yet received, experienced, or possessed. Among these needs: 1. The First Need: "I want to see God." This desire was not present in...
