Explanation: This is a powerful verse that serves as a great assurance for anyone who wishes to enter into the presence of God. Whoever you are, and whenever you come, you can approach without hesitation. A sinner, a great sinner, an unrepentant sinner, a sinner who feels unable to let go of their sins, a sinner who knows right from wrong but struggles to live accordingly—no matter what kind of sinner you are, you can boldly enter into God's presence. The door of grace is always open for everyone. As the hymn says, "Just as I am, I come to you," you can come even if you feel unprepared. A guilty person may hesitate to approach a friend they have wronged or fear facing authorities, but even such a sinner can come into God's presence.
