Pentecost – Baptism of the Holy Spirit

Sermon - Pentecost – Baptism of the Spirit Acts of the Apostles 2:1–4Repent,Receive forgiveness of sins,Then you will receive the gift. Prayer: O Father, the foundation of all creation! Fill our human hearts with Your Holy Spirit . Then we shall experience the joy of the Spirit, the stirring of the Spirit, and the zeal of the Spirit. Fill our human understanding with the knowledge of Your glory, with the wisdom of the Spirit, and with prophetic insight. Then we will be able to comprehend all the things hidden within Your depths. We will be able to understand all that You have revealed for this present time. Father, fill our human conscience with Your perfect Spirit, so that we may walk in the way You have taught and revealed. Holy Spirit, purify our hearts, Father. Your love is ever constant and unchanging. Father, even in times when the outpouring of the Spirit was opposed, Your disciples always triumphed. O Father who dwells in all our hearts—thank You! You live in the houses of the...

Disciples! You shall be My witnesses unto the ends of the earth

Sermon - Lessons from the Savior Matthew 16:24; Mark 1:21 In the first message of the calling ministry, there is a “0” — representing completeness. In the second message at the temple gate, there is also a “0” — representing completeness. The whole globe is present there. The congregation is gathered there. There is the hearing of His call to salvation, the acceptance of it, and the coming to Him. That is: 1. Hearing, 2. Examining, 3. Accepting, 4. Coming. Whoever comes to the Lord Jesus, all their sins will be forgiven. Therefore, come! This is the Good News. Why? Because He removes all the evil consequences that came through sin — come to be delivered from them. “You must always remain with Me,” meaning: after heaven comes, you must dwell with Me there. He called with these three desires in mind. In order to make one dwell permanently in His presence, He said: “Disciples! You shall be My witnesses unto the ends of the earth.” When the work of the disciples was tested, that message ha...

The Ladder to Heaven (Psalms 39; Mark 16:16; Galatians 1:1)

Sermon - The Ladder to Heaven (Psalms 39; Mark 16:16; Galatians 1:1) Dear beloved believers who long to reach the higher place—heaven’s upper floor! From the beginning until now, we have not remained as the infants we once were on the day we were born. Just as we have grown physically, so we must also grow in wisdom and understanding. Yes, the intelligence we had as children is far surpassed by the wisdom we gain as we grow older. Thus, it is evident we are growing mentally just as we grow physically. These two areas—bodily growth and mental maturity—are essential to human life. But they are both limited to this earthly life. Our bodies remain here. And with the knowledge we gain, we are able to earn food, clothing, and shelter. We labor in fields, study in schools, and work in offices. But none of these things exist in heaven. As long as we live on this earth, we must also prepare to enter heaven. On this earth, there are two major levels of growth: 1.Growth in the body 2.Growth in ...

"I have been crucified with Christ…" — Galatians 2:20

Sermon - crucified with Christ "I have been crucified with Christ…" — Galatians 2:20 Dear lovers of the Word! Dear lovers of the Cross of Christ! You who seek to meditate on suffering and embrace the discipline of devotion — may you be granted the grace to meditate upon the cross of Christ and to crucify your flesh. Amen. Today, let us reflect on specific truths about crucifying the self. According to the above verse, the apostle Paul speaks of crucifying the “I” — the self. In contrast, the archangel Lucifer said, “I will ascend into heaven” (Isaiah 14:13). But immediately, God cast that proud angel down. Second, Goliath also boasted and threatened the Israelites. He said, “Why have you come out to set your battle in array? Am I not a Philistine?... If I prevail and kill him, then you shall be our servants… I defy the armies of Israel this day” (1 Samuel 17:8–10). Goliath came forward full of pride, relying on the power of “I” — exalting himself. But David came forward not ...

Christopher

Sermon - Christopher To the Lovers of the Word   May the Holy Spirit Father, who has prepared a spiritual feast, grant it as a blessing and bestow the privilege of bearing Christ! Amen. In the Holy Scriptures, it is clearly written: “The womb that bore Him.” However, the mystery lies in this—that during baptism itself, one puts on Christ (Galatians 3:27). Today, let us learn about the sacred lesson of “bearing Christ,” “carrying Christ,” and “putting on Christ”—a theme we can call Christophorism . Throughout the Bible, those who bore Christ are the ones who truly put Him on. They are the Christ-bearers —the Christophers. To truly understand them, one must read the Bible with depth and reverence . You may have read the Bible, but perhaps have not discovered its mysteries and doctrines. Merely reading without spiritual insight is not truly reading the Bible. There are two primary methods of reading the Scriptures: Parāya ṇ am – continuous recitation Adhyā...

God’s Way of Shaping Us: Testing, Discipline, Teaching

Sermon - Testing, Discipline, and Teaching Psalms 92:1-5; Luke 9:7-9; Philippians 2:14-15 Sermon Text: 1 Samuel 21:10-15; David’s Psalms – Psalm 34 In today’s message, David is shown to be in a time of suffering. One must realize that God was with David. In last week's lesson, David fled from one place to another. Today, he takes a sword and flees. David’s heart was filled with fear and dread. Saul’s army was approaching him, driven by Saul’s jealousy and the deployment of his soldiers — these were the causes of David’s fear. But even if there are reasons to fear, is it right to be afraid? Psalm 34:1 says the angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him. Why fear, then? Fear arises due to: 1.       Doubt 2.      Real danger However, according to the Word of God, one should not fear either of these. Yet all believers experience both kinds of fear. David was in a time of trouble — a time when he was afraid — and so he ...
